yea nvm now i see the light on wall in bh was harder to see because of the enemy's fat model

its a glitch like some people said. Feel free to ask maverick if u want to make sure but im certain its a glitch. Why? The walls are lined perfectly and its not photoshopped for those of u think it is.

It is not a glitch, and what is the chances of someone having the same glitch in there config, wouldn't the smart thing to think be they have the same cfg.. Please read others post on o2o, well the valuable post..

The fact that you simply stated that "It is not a glitch" makes me wonder why you even created this thread. If you want to just say that he is hacking -1 then there is no need to make a thread about it. If you are looking for answers as to what it is then respect everyones opinions. Discuss it before giving it a final answer. Right now, some people agree that it is in fact a glitch and some say it's a hack.

The people who posted on .o2o. site might be right but I still think this is a glitch and there is no way you'll change my mind . I don't see any bodies in the wall, I can't see through the walls. I can't even see the what's behind the wall or the rooms behind the wall. Why can't the cfg's be similar? The settings don't look like they're very different.

I'll ask Maverick whether or not if this is a glitch or a wallhack. Why doesn't Chakal reply?

i actually do not believe it's a glitch since both have it in their cfgs, but i also wont assume it be a hack right away - i'd like to see someone get one of their cfgs and see if those walls look the same in red armor, if not then i'd be open to believe it's a cheat... (with so many funky lighting settings available in this game i don't put much past the game's capabilities at this point)

anyone able to get ahold of either one of their configs?

although i must say Xbox's post looks like he definately pasted or altered the backhall part (but the red armor part i'm curious if that's somethin with both their configs)

with that said, even though i don't think it's a glitch i'm curious to hear what mav says when elmo asks him about it

They both have the same thing in backhall, but in Chakal's is harder to see probably because of his fov.

If they are using the same hack, I think Chakal would have dropped too tho.

For now, I'm more inclined to it being a hack tho.

You drop at random times, maybe chakal toggles.. People who hack don't automatically drop right away..

go to xg forums, some guy there did the same pk3 that chakal downloaded.
and also say its the same shiny walls. idk i went and d/l it, and went to this ctf server he said it happens in, and i didnt get the walls. as elmo said though, it looks more like something with the pk3?

xbox should be and will be banned due to his drop.

I thought i said this was a hack not that long ago...but mettlicaCat said it wasnt so everyone shut up cuz he came in an said it wasnt...Im not tryin to start anything but seems like everyone is listening to one person...Now look its brought up again and leaning towards a -1..

xg found him to be innocent. someone else posted ss at xg forums. and he was brought back in as a T. day later. idk i used this pk3, and i got zero shiny walls. to me theres more to it.
but i cant waste time on it anymore. im odded out, that two ppl took ss, and had these shiny walls. yet i went in, and few others, and didnt get any. so idk, lock it. and start a new one later on i guess.

heres a reply from zapping at xG forums, he DLed the .ok3 and the walls did glow but only in these two servers ( MgL and HHNET ) he posted something about 1.15 and 1.16 version maybe thats why it only works in some servers



Ok guys ... i tried the xdc_ss.pk3 and it worked on some servers.

I can assure u all that its not a cheat.

I don't know much about creating servers, but on some servers it shows version as " 1.15 " ?!?!?!

I play this game 4 a long ... long time ....

Well ..... it's not a cheat. Cheats based on "pak files" are now detected, i'd say since the release of noghost build mod 53.

Unlike some .dll cheats, which cannot be detected .... i guess u know y .... ^^

and i got a few more proofs here

as you can see the melt is not showing thru the walls but the wall still glowing



and i took a more convicing ss of the same body

this time melt is half in the screen and another half behind the glowing wall

as u can see i just cant see it thru the walls



the wall of the 2nd ss isnt glowing so much this happens cuz the shiny thing its like a reflex from a light or something itll show up better when i viewing the wall from a different position, you can notice that comparing the 1st ss with the 2nd



if you guys are still not convinced it will be np for me to take a ss with some of you guys just to make sure

Yeah...it sucks on the skies. I take it that your talking about the xdc_ss.pk3 mappack? It's a very hard thing to find that mappack. Someone told that it was illegal? I don't think it is..
