Well, im hungover so excuse me if this post makes no sense.
Ping(latency not spiking) only affects when you see someone. they don't really skip any more then the normal 30-150 pingers, so making "Hard shots" or "strange shots" out in the open wouldnt (and isnt) any harder then any of you low pingers, the shots he made were fairly consistant but in a game where everyone plays the same map over and over again you learn to read where players usually go. and i noticed he ussually goes around the map in the same direction for a long time, and the shots he makes are all pretty much the same. i don't know if you guys can understand what im trying to get at here.
What would happen if you recorded someone without setting g_synchronousclients back to 0 ?
would it hit when they hit or would it be osp/baseq3 unlagged rail type?
If you demoed me, or another high pinger it would look rather similar i think, who knows, i don't know enough about this autofire thing to make accusations. some insight would be nice from others who know.
