xbox or playstation

im loocking to by the new xbox on november the 19 and i would like to no your opinion which one you prefer xbox or playstation and for what reason thank you

Personally I like the playstation, but it all depends on what kind of games do you like.

my neighbors had both a ps3 and a 360, in the end they sold the ps3 and bought another 360 because nothing compares to xbox live, plus i have to add "Gears of War 2"!!!!!!!!!!!

well the xbox360 does have more games and depending on the game has great graphics plus now u can buy for like 199 plus tax & the ps3 cost still the same has fewer games but the play is nice then u get the blu ray crap wit it.i myself will be buying a xbox360 1 for the price they are now plus u get the same games u get on ps3 but lots more to choose..and as far as the wii it's a fun system but hard as hell to find plus cost just as much as a ps3 on the black market but if ur lucky and get buy from ur locla target,walmart,gamestop,kmart,bestbuy.circuitcity,the mall good luck

Well you see... the Wii is entertaining and all, but it's a system you play for a couple hours and get bored of it unless you play with friends. I personally wouldn't buy a Wii.

And yes Juggs, the xbox is cheaper, because it has less things. If you want an xbox that has the same things a PS3 has (minus the Blu-ray) you would end up paying more than a ps3.

The Ps3 has recently went down in prices, and is the most economic option. (You get wireless connection capabilities, play station network (the equivalent for Xbox Live), bluray and dvd play back out of the box; you don't need to buy extra accessories).

If you like games like Cod4 and Medal of Honor, you'll do just fine with the Ps3. The ps3 has the best games in my opinion. The only 2 games that give the xbox an edge over Ps3 are Halo 3 and Fable 2, nonetheless I don't really like those games that much. (Great games Xbox doesn't have (or won't have): Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, M.A.G. ( A massive Call of Duty-like game that will support over 256 players in the same server) and a ton more)

The ps3 will unavoidably crush the Xbox later on, because as games improve, the Xbox won't be able to play them; for example, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a Ps3 exclusive because there was no way the Xbox could play it (Bluray discs can store up to 50 GB of info, while HD DVD only 30GGB).

And actually, the Ps3 has a better image than the xbox.

Take in mind this is all my opinion only, and i may be biased because I own a Ps3 that I can't take my hands off >.<

the ps3 was ok but tended to overheat good graphics not many games
xbox ok graphics more games didnt over heat
wii miles more fun then the other 2 althought not the best grahpics
