Banana Peels and Frozen Eels
Late one night I found my stomach growling
I decided to travel downstairs prowling
I snuck into the kitchen for a midnight snack
But when I opened the door, I was attacked!
Fruits and meats, dairy and bread alike
All layed before my eyes in a delicate sight
With my lips wet and my mouth drooling
These leftovers thought they were fooling
I grabbed a fork and knife and began to dig
I ate so fast I could've sworn I was a pig
Bite after bite, munch after munch
I must've eaten enough to last till lunch
Cake, whip cream, twinkies, and buns
Bananas, apples, I was yet to be done
Food all over my face and my clothes
Where it would all end up nobody knows
I scarfed down the entire fridge in one swoop
All that was left was a can of tomato soup
I retired to bed, satisfied and ever so slow
I tried to dream, until my stomach began to glow
I had eaten too much for my own good
For now my belly wasn't in the mood
I ran straight to the bathroom right away
And I didn't come out until the next day
Late one night I found my stomach growling
