I just had to post cause I found it funny...

I was looking around in era forums and saw A suspected cheater post...

I was bored so I tried matching IP's to our server logs. Guess what I found...they are blaming 1 person who people seem to know (young.vM) for hacking due to being in the same city as the actual hacker....now heres the funny part....

I prove the IP isnt youngs a few times...then "the old guy" tries to put on his man pants and say Im an idiot....still dont see what his reason is. So I post again with 100% proof of the IP's being different....and he deletes my post and locks the topic lol. "TheOldGuy?....try TheChildGuy. Couldnt handle me handing his ass to him in a video game forum.

This seems to be one of the problems with quake.... Morons like TOG act as this is a real life situation. ITS A VIDEO GAME TOOLBOX.

Sorry for my rant...I just have a low tollerance for people who cant admit they are wrong.

For the little I know him that doesn't sound like him... but then, I've been surprised before and it wasn't pretty. Anyways I'm gonna read that thread .

Tad its all good. Hacking/Not Hacking is only an opinion on .16 because there are no tools that can tell you for sure the person is hacking. Some hackers are obvious, most aren't. So it is basically pointless to argue over whether someone hacks or doesn't.
Besides, I agree with what you said. Many people on quake run around with Phony Egos. Which is why hanging out at killers was a breath of fresh air for most people.
