"Gift of Love"

Little did I have to offer,
Little did I have to say.
I look to the stars for answers,
To questions I've made along the way.
The desire which drives me,
Is my own curiousity.
Just trying to understand myself,
And my reason for being here.
The fire burns inside,
It warms me, in the depths of my soul.
The wisdom I have shared with this world.
Your feelings inside, let them go.
Fill yourself up with joy and inspiration,
Spread your wings and fly away.
Leave the world and all it's commotion,
Come with me into another day.
Unaware of the choices we made,
Not undestanding the importance of time,
Stuck within a perpetual phase.
Feel the light inside, let it shine.
Learn from my pain,
As my wounds healed with time.
Feel this warmth I share,
Our thought intertwined.
Truly I remain for you,
I undestand it all now,
For you knowing I was made to be true,
This is my gift of love.
