The Bullet

A few years ago I did know
What love was, how it shone
Her joyous lips kissed my own
I never felt a moment alone

Then a piercing feeling did come
After countless days my head hung
Exceeding her wishes all undone
I felt shame and the nightmare won

Now I am lost in the endless sea
Days and nights of my woe and misery
The bullet could end all things in me
But hope came at last, you soon shall see

Days ago I proposed my fate in love
She contemplates all things said above
I know she still longs for someone's love
The day we walk together soon shall come

well it's not a good thing yet, but I've been talking to my ex a lot recently and I told her my feelings for her. I know this is a very stupid decision and I will regret it, but I told her that I can't be her friend because I'm always going to want more, that I'm always going to think of her as a girlfriend and we can't be friends forever. She likes me as a friend and I make her laugh and we have fun, and I think she has some locked up feelings for me still, so I told her that she has to decide if she's going to give me a second chance or not. I'm giving her as much time as she needs to think things over, but I think the chances are 50/50 right now...that's why I wrote this poem...in hopes of reuniting.

yea it's not gonna happen... my aunt is being a bitch about stuff so i have to go get a job before i can go to school. :/
