If you are worried about viruses, you don't have faith in your antivirus and your own abilites to remove it. So I don't understand how someone "savvy" could worry about it and be paranoid.

I dunno either. All I know is he knows how to see everything I do. And his laptop didn't have anti-virus, it's unprotected. That's why he freaked.

This would be an abmormal case though. Thats more a rule for those who refuse to have xfire and are applying. Xfire is important so we can get to know the apps.
