Supp

Sup guys, i have a question and wasnt sure where to post it, but my comp got infected by alot of viruses and crashed, so i bought a new copy of win xp and installed now my sound is not working. I am trying to figure out how to get it working ive done some research and it jus brought me to where i started off. My comp can not find a driver for my sound card and i dont know the model of my card, I was wondering how i would figure that out if anyone has any ideas please post! ty

You build your computer or bought it from a store pre-built. If it is pre-build I suggest going to the website and look up your model and specs and handling it from there.

I built it, but ive owned it for a couple of yrs so i cant remember the specs, I never thought i would ever have any problems with it lol

Damn that sucks. Well then open up your PC and take out your sound card and find the Model # and google it. If it is an onboard sound card then google your motherboard and what kind of sound card it has.
