In my expert opinion, and after much considering, my unbiased veredict is that BREASTSSSS!

Not true at all. He's doing the right thing by not being bias in favor of potcha not hacking. He would obviously defend his friend...as anybody else would too.

That's stupid, if you're a ref, then your opinion matters. If you are childish enough to withhold your opinion because you think what you say may hurt the person in question, then you don't deserve to be a ref.

If you think it's going to be hurtful towards potcha then you must think he hacks, if you don't think he hacks, and if it's going to be biased towards the community, then your opinion on this, or anything else isn't worth reading.

I don't agree. Just because he is a ref, it does not mean he has some sort of obligation to give out an opinion on every demo that's posted. Being a ref has more to do with being a level headed player that won't rush into decisions in-game, and that is able to control server situations better than most. Being a ref is doing someone a favor in managing their server, it does not however at all mean that you're supposed to watch demos (hell, if it were up to me, nobody should ever watch demos in grounds of it being one of the most mind-numbing and completely ineffective way of catching non-obvious hackers); it is just an extra that people tend to value more the opinion of refs because of the very same level-headedness.

A ref has the same obligation as any other player to spend their time scrupulously observing replays of other people's playing: none.

Granted, given the turn-out of events, it would probably had been a better idea for Cat not to post at all in the topic, instead of posting about how he's not going to post.

First of all im not with holding anything. I watched 5 minutes of each, and stopped watching them. Certainly not enough to have an opinion on anyone. Secondly, and this is to Porn, my first post was to anwser a question that someone had asked, that in no way reflected the demos period. And then i was asked my opinion.

Regardless, this has no place here whatsoever. Sketch has a personal problem with me obviously, and ive said before, I have desire to defend myself, or my methods to a kid on the internet. Thank you come again.

In my defense, it's not like we're in some kind of magic discussion software that allows us to keep track of complicated debates so that I could magically turn to page one and see how bK asked for your opinion explicitly and not make a fool out of myself.

I have no problem with you, it's just funny how people like you get picked to watch demos and give out a respected decision.

Seriously this topic has been way blown out of proportion. This is a topic about Potcha, HENCE the title sBs Potcha. Lets stick to the topic and not create drama. Cat doesn't want to express his opinion on this post so get over it. It is one person out of probably hundreds of hackers.
