Anyone know where I can download a mac version of quake, not demo either.

My brother just got a mac and wants to play quake. Some of you might know him, his name use to be atomicWarfare.

I have a Mac and I've been looking and haven't found any. I remember the Mac brothers saying there is none, and they've had Macs since before they could walk.

Your best bet is to install windows using bootcamp.

EDIT:
ghettoelf was looking for mac quake too a while ago. he couldnt find it either :/

Yeah he was my brother. Him and I were the ones that made blind and atomic then merged with king. Alright thanks I will look to see how much it is.

If some is interested here are the instructions:
1) Download CrossOver Games for Mac 7.1.1


2) I followed a very good video. (is to install tf2 on a mac, but i did the same for quake)

3) I inserted the quake cd. After installing it, i installed the Q3PointRelease_116n.exe (i use crossover to instal it).

4) Run it

This was taken off pills site idk how effective it is so attempt with caution. Post was made a while ago so their might be a more current version of CrossOver.
