hey the f20f rail skin, that i accidentally deleted -.-

no the Smokey rail skin... i just done the f20f one like it, so i wouldnt have to spend hours testing and tweaking... myn came first.. anthem made the base for it i believe... i just added a script to make it shiny and alot better then the original

either way it was used for f20f and i ended up accidentally deleting it

Ive never tried. If its the same idea as making a rail skin, I assume I could do it...

Poison used to make them, idk if she still does.

I'd like to know how to do it myself because I might end up changing consoles like I do avatars and names lol

Well the pak0 can open up with winRAR. To be honest most quake files open with winRAR but my point being in that file there is models, sounds, weapons, etc. Basically what you do is create folders and put your custom image in there to render it into the game.

I haven't done it in a while so don't quite remember the folder names.

Easiest way to do it, imo, is do DL someone elses pk file for a custom console... open in winRAR, then edit the jpeg. That's how I made all my railgun skins before. Made it easier and a ton faster.

another thing virt, is pk3's can be compiled with winrar too, which makes the process so much easier.
