To homework or not to homework?

I have a packet of conic sections homework to do tonight but I do not feel like doing it. I have a test tomorrow and finals next week. I also failed my quiz on Monday. I feel like I need to do this but I will probably not do it. I have a 55-69% in that class but I do not believe that high school is worthwhile and mostly is pointless. Do any of you share this feeling?

Do a little over half of every homework packet/assignment, and pass every class with a C.

Unless you plan on getting into an university, do whatever. If you plan on going to a community college after highschool, your high school GPA isn't that big of a deal in my opinion. Whenever you start college, you get a brand new GPA.

Not gonna lie, i graduated highschool by the skid of my teeth, with a 1.9 GPA. I preferred my social life to my homework lol. But whenever you get into college, you should bust your ass so you can get transferred to a university and get a good job.


Do whatever you can to pass highschool cause no one wants to be in school an extra year or two. I knew people who were like that, and as cool of a person as they were to hang out with, they hated being in school while the friends their age were moving on in life and leaving them behind.

I graduated with like a 1.9 - 2.3 GPA, I didn't give a rat's ass about school. I did none of my work, all the tests, quizzes, and projects, slept everyday, and passed with low C's - high B's.

i was ranked like 254th out of 296 kids that graduated, gpa wise. yet every teacher i had recognized that i was more intelligent than the kids that got "good grades", and thereby gave me a break (passing me).

anyways, high school was really boring. im planning on going community college -> uni over the next few years, im sure my college gpa will be more than satisfactory as i will be having to pay for my education

ASU is rather famous for its "education for all" policy, meaning they're not really selective. It doesn't mean it's not a great school though. Good luck.

I'll tell you this though, you may think high school is not that important, but it is. In my opinion, soak up everything you can. This semester in college I finally saw how everything relates to everything else, what you see as separate unrelated subjects are in reality quite intertwined with each other. Except humanities, fuck that shit.

Well im already in classes like physics and calc right now. I took chemistry last year and my mom is doing chem right now in college and its all the exact same stuff. So I have a decent amount of knowledge of what the college classes will be like. I am also willing to study and do homework in college which I am not in high school. They make high school so easy that everyone can pass even people who don't try so I don't feel like wasting my time on it either.
