Every PB image isn't working because they are doing work. Really wish we had our own host now lol.

Guess that is what you get when you host images with a free host.

Free is an option, but there is also a paid portion. Those customers are effected too.

The most complaints I saw were people from ebay. And I can understand that. They are selling items, some pay for the service, auctions are ending and they have no pics to show their products. I would be pissed too...


And obviously it's a major issue. They stated saying it was an update over night last night and all would be up by this morning.... then it turned to "we are working on the situation".

Someone or something fucked it all up. But, they promise no pics will be lost on free or paid accounts. We will see...

They are sooo effed. Better hoped they back up every upload lol because I bet you they lost a ton of shit just saying that to keep people calm for now till they figure out they can't do shit about it then it is oppps we fucked up.

I emailed them. If I get a reply I will post it as well as my email. I don't think they have lost any pics/videos. Their company would die if they did. I think it will be back up soon though.

It's not effecting everyone. They claimed it as only 3%, but with the amount of posts I would assume it is well higher then that.

Suggestion. Send an email requesting a 3 month pro membership in photobucket. I did and got mine

I suggest not being rude, just explain that your account being suspended due to maintenance has vastly hampered your internet experience.


The nicer you are the better, IMO. Typically takes from a few minutes to a few hours to get a reply.

Dear photobucket,
My account was suspended due to maintenance that is being done and has vastly hampered my internet experience. I run/manage a internet forum with over 700+ members and the forum is caked in ugly white boxes saying 'we are doing a little work right now'. I understand errors happen and appreciate the free service that you provide for the public but I feel like I should get something in return due to the fact all the hard work I put into making my images are no longer on display till the maintenance is done. I would be satisfied if I were able to get a pro subscription for a few months for the inconvenience.
