Inactive Notice.

i probably won't be active as much anymore, Amy and i had a major argument and have broken up, and i worked for her dad so i got fired as well. my work schedule will likely be a lot more time-consuming once i get a new job, so the only times i'll probably be on is on weekends, unless i have to work on weekends too. i'll be back in a while to catch some frags with you guys.

There is sales tax in Florida. There is no state income tax. Something a lot get confused by.

However, 2 weeks a year around school starting, school supplies and clothes dont have sales tax..... but thats it.



As far as the cops, it's just like anywhere... it depends on the cops and the area really. I lived in Orlando, cops were sort of strict, most of them at least.... but some were really cool. When I moved to more of the country area, they are mostly laid back. Beach cities are the same, except the beach patrol. They can be quite dickish.

Hmm people told me there is no tax there, well if that isn't the case then that sucks.

No sales tax is amazing. Also cops in California are fairly nice tbh. Usually if they pull you over and you don't have drugs or look like you are a gang member they usually let you go.

Ya, they do that 2 weeks of no sales tax..... but thats it.

No state taxes is great though. Can give you upwards of 1$ extra an hour depending on what you make. I assume that's what people meant when they said no tax. No state taxes. There's no sales tax on groceries... but most states have that as well.

If I remember right, sales tax is 7.5% in Florida. Michigan is 6%.... so thats nice on big purchases. When I lived in New Orleans, it was 8.75%....

It's 10 cents on the dollar here.

6% is cheap haha.. in California it is 9.25% which I heard they are trying to eliminate the U.S. penny since it cost more for them to make it then it is worth which if that is true tax will move up to 10% here in California.

While California is nice with weather and all prices on gas & tax suck.
