God Hates Me...

First topic message reminder :

Well, the other day, my computer got BSOD and windows wouldnt boot anymore, so i called up HP to order a recovery disk because i couldnt find mine, right after i hung up, i put the phone back on the hook, and right under the fucking base for the phone, guess what i find. a case with two recovery disks in it.

i thought to myself "fuck me man, how can i be so stupid" put them in and completely reformatted my computer. now all of a sudden, i lost the disks again and they're nowhere to be found... AGAIN.

not like i need em now, but still, would be nice to know where they are when i do need them.
anyone else ever get the feeling that some higher power is taking a shit on their luck or making them have a bad day?

Seems to correspond with all crimes out there, not just tire slashings...

They were gonna do an investigation w/o the admission. Whether or not they would have succeeded in finding out who did it is a different story entirely.

Joe, you need to always make a police report any time anyone does any type of damage to anything you own..... Always.


There are many reasons why.

Didn't disagree with that. I understand that and I do but just being honest that they don't really do much unless there is some kind of proof, which in blades case we will see.

My sister's car got egged and she knew who it was which she told them and they couldn't do anything about it.

The proof comes from investigating, and they were gonna do that anyway, I told them who I thought it was and gave them information on them as far as phone numbers and addresses and such.

The cops are still gonna do nothing as long as the 1 that I've talked to so far that's willing to admit she had something to do with it pays us for the tires, but if she doesn't, arrest warrants will be put out for everyone involved..

data, what kind of car do you drive? i've been driving a Jeep Cherokee Sport for the past few months, ever since my Studebaker's fuel tank began leaking all over the place.

dude, seems you are pretty deep in it... the fact that they are your girlfriends friends says something - if i were you i'd watch my back (in terms of wanting to be with her) but then im not informed, and its not my call. just sounds a little fishy...

It was at night in which she woke up to it in the morning.

Egg messes up the paint if it stays on long enough but in her case it just messed up her clear coat.

if you can't subtract 1998 from 2011 to find the age, you need to go back to elementary school....

LOL! Lets face it though, unless she is a mechanic a 12 year old car is on its way out (depending on what it is of course) so a little damage to the clear coat doesnt matter too much right?

You don't have to be a mechanic to keep a 12 yr old car running...

Considering I'm far from a mechanic and my piece of shit Bird's still running and it's 19 yrs old..

1998 isn't really that old for a car...
Also her car still runs great so not quite sure where you get it being on it's way out.

Not to mention I was driving a 93' beamer 325is and it was running amazingly, even to this day after it being 'totaled' it still runs amazing just not legally allowed to drive it on the street until I fix the body.

My Bird is barely running, if I'm honest...

But it wasn't taken care of in the best possible ways either..

Hey any car will last long just as long as you keep up the maintenance.

Saw a Honda Accord in the junk yard a while back with 600K+ miles. I am sure they replaced the engine somewhere during it's life time but still that is a lot of miles.
