Spotify

I just heard about it, but seems neat. It's basically a music program but you can get to and listen to anything you want. There's more too it then that, so look it up

Anyway... It's a UK based site that was just released in the US. But, as of now US people need invites, which are hard to come by it seams. So.... if you can't join it, trick it

I used that site and now have a US based account. I'm not a huge music buff.....but the amount of songs on there is insane.

Is it like Grooveshark.com? I don't see much difference aside from the offline features which you have to pay for, and probably a bit more songs.

I hate companies creating scarcity as a marketing ploy, this is a full-fledged, out-of-beta service and they're still "invite only", that's messed up.

It's a UK company with a recent US release.....thats why its invite only here.

Im not sure what groove shark is, so I can't say for sure..... but torrents still seems to give me my fix when needed...


The only "plus" I really see is the mobile capability. Although I believe that is part of the pay portion.

Edit: I looked at Grooveshark.com. Same basic idea, except its a downloaded program, not a site stream. I assume that helps for mobile. Again, it's a lot like iTunes by appearance.

Yeah it is like grooveshark and pandora just a lot cleaner and on your PC. I like it a lot.

u only get an open account doing that method. so its like 10 hours of music a month. the free account you can get is unlimited listening for 6 months.
