i was out for the pass 2 days or something like that, my pc got intruded and attacked lmao the anti-virus and all my security software was so overwhelmed it made a few system erros (to be honest i had a few things disable so the internet and games ran a bit faster making me vulnerable for attacks, so it was my mistake) i formated and reinstalled xp, im currently setting up my security software back up and this time taking the time and effort to make it run smooth lmao... just letting ya know im around i will be play here and then but need to run a few antivirus and other things to make sure im clean [if not Dad will take me out of the network xD] i wont have any weird software running till im good to go, quake is alright since i know its clean but xfire will wait a bit.

xFire causes so many problems for my comp : / i wanna get ride of it...... at least once a week my antivirus detects somthing wrong with xfire that may be harmful :S

just know who u add to your list otherwise you can add a virus through a screen name. It happened to Tad once and our ISP locked us down for too much outgoing information. It was very odd. SO make sure you know who you are adding to your list and clean out anyone u do not know from your list because xfire will bite ya Maybe make a new xfire and start over Good Luck

wow I think i have like 500 xfire!! 0.0 and im all ok and im addind everyone if they ask n matter if I know them or not lol

all i can say is my computer dotn get harm foum it i set it up that whay i get more hurm coming to this site or playing quake than any other thing

AND BTW ABOUT ANTI-VIRUS you can set it so he doesn't scan xfire so it will stop telling u stuff for nothing about it

Thing is, xFire has crashed my computer twice before. I really dont want it to happen again, and by disabling the anti-virus scan on my xFire, it is almost guarenteed to happen again.

I really don,t know how it can make ur whole computer to crash.. xfire is just like msn... if u accept nothing ( i mean folder.. pic ans stuff) fromother i really don't know how it can cause ur cpu to crash!

uhm i did not meant xfire did such thing but instead just to make sure waited for all my security software to be installed and running correctly before i install what i call extra software so yea even after formating it seems there problem was more deep within the pc than what i thought, me and dad are working on it :/ i can only be on the network while dad is there to look at the incoming and outgoing traffic since the router shuts down at night if we leave my puter running... its all good we are testing and running different anti- viruses, trojans, spyware, and all the garbage related...
