Runaway
I could never forget the feeling of his hand in mine
Everything is perfect when our fingers intertwine
Cant seem to breathe when I’m with you, don’t know what that’s about
Seems even harder when I have to go without
Just wish you were closer, so that it wouldn’t keep getting harder
Without you by my side it seems like nothing is right
Just want you to be here to hold me tight
Every night when I lay my head down upon my pillow I think of you
Can’t help but wonder if your thinking of me, too
Just wish I could fall asleep in those arms of yours, so warm and caring
The more I think of it the more I feel daring
Just want to run… run away with you tonight
Take you with me, your face such a wonderful sight
I would be your sweet escape, and you would be mine
You’d run your fingers down my spine…
My arms would lock around you, and I’d insist on never letting go
You’d hold me close, and whisper “Lets take it slow”
I’d smile and lean into your chest, and the night would go on
We’d think about the pros, and figure out there was only one con
Together we’d dread this night coming to an end
There was no better person in which this time we could spend
