Another Night Without You

The evening wind blows
through the back window.
Turn your AC down to low,
because you know
the outside's coolin' down
and the sun is setting now
what a beautiful sight
it is tonight.
I wish you were here with me...
to see what I see,
to feel what I feel,
to know the truth in me.
Over and over and over again
I can't help thinking about
how great it was back then.
I make it sound like forever,
I make it sound so true,
But I don't want to tell you.
The sun is gone...the moon sits up so high,
I see all the stars brightly shining in the sky.
When this happens it seems like a dream.
I hope you still love me...
because now you can see
how I feel for you everyday,
and I will never change my way.
I turn on my bedroom light, just to turn it off again
I lay in my bed and begin to dream about us together again.
I fall deep asleep to be awake for tomorrow...
...for another long day just thinking about you.
