Step Be Made
Written By: Jacob Goodin
You took my breathe away,
Left me on that day.
Little did I have to say.
I felt the coldness grow,
Inside of me, where you didn’t know.
It became so old.
I felt you tugging,
My heart is still burning,
A song I never sing.
A teardrop falling,
Not walking, but crawling,
A slow burn, now a sting.
Witness to my own mistakes,
Got to look before a step be made,
Tomorrow brings another day,
To think about how I feel.
