To Dream

I have never seen so many different emotions displayed in only a minutes time
If only for each I had a dime...
You tell me you love me, that I'm your special one
and then in the next second, you could make it as if we're done

I try my best to follow my heart
Your doubt in me is tearing us apart
If only we'd get a chance to even start...
So pack your bags, that'd be as heavy as my heart

When you reach me the weight would lift
All I could do is stand their stiff
I have never seen someone quite so swift

Picking me up and pulling me close
Most definitely not anymore feeling morose.

Then I'd wake up and it would've all just been a dream
All I would want to do is scream...
Waiting by the stream...

Waiting for you to come home
A place where youve never been but a place your heart would finally be at rest
You'd make your way, to clean up this big mess
I'd find myself in a lacy dress

Walking down the aisle
Cant help but smile
This cant be a dream, for I haven't slept for a while

your poem is very true from the heart, in my opinion love is never a easy thing to be apart of, if it was easy we would never understand the true meaning of it. because love involves giving up all what you believe in, and when you let your guard down it's when we are most vulnerable to our feelings. good poem.

It's amazing how Love can be such a great thing, and given to someone can be such a scary thing. You just have to trust that the other will do what is right. And if they don't you just move on and pick up the pieces of your heart. It's amazing how Love and Trust go hand in hand. When you have one, you have the other...if you lose one...you lose the other.
