Painful Choice

If you wanted to be a challenge, you should know
That I've had enough while fighting for you.
I've been through hell,
And that's not something I need to tell.

I can't sleep at night,
All because of you,
I used to shine so bright,
When i was close to you.
But I don't feel close anymore,
And I'm never with you,
One day you're nice,
The next one all I want,
Is to close my eyes.

I've been true to you,
That's something that just a few get,
And even though you've made a sin,
I hope you'll be happy,
Just not with him.

I've fought for a year,
And that's too much, dear.
I know you're worth a long fight,
But I ain't strong enough to survive,
So I'll end it tonight.

You've crossed the line, but I'll be just fine.
Even though every step I take,
Seems to be just another mistake.
I'll walk, and I'll do it alone.

You've been a blessing,
And you've been a force, with which I just can't be messing,
Even though my love for you is true,
I'll go on without you.

"You don't know what you got until its gone." Is what I thought of here, just take what you've learned from the situations you go through and reinforce them into your life. This will make you stronger as a individual but also it will help you see what your truly after.
