The Fool will pick up broken glass
Thinking it will not harm him
The Lover will leave a flower path
Knowing it will grow to the brim
The Fool will not touch, fearing sting
He feels unable to explore
The Lover will please everything
She feels an earthen door
The Fool cannot dream about dreams
Only the reality seed is planted
The Lover will fight to dream dreams
For the rejection of those banished
The Fool will see The Lover
And all her external beauty
The Lover will see another
And The Fool will fight truly
The Fool will write on a paper
Spilling out heart and soul
The Lover never has to wager
For she is never in a hole
The Fool will love
And he will lose
The Lover will rise above
All those she knew
The Fool will die all alone
And down he will be forgotten
The Lover will leave atoned
And she will keep above the bottom
