Crayons
Written By: Jacob Goodin
Let me color you a picture,
Which colors should I choose?
Red, yellow, green, blue, oh and purple too.
I can't decide, so i'll use them all.
I'll make a beautiful picture,
You can hang on the wall.
Pink, orange, indigo and violet,
I have found the right encouragement.
Inspiration is the hard thing to find,
But in a box of crayons,
You'll find it in due time.
Color me a picture,
So the world can see,
All the colors, that are here...
Just for you and me.
I know I didn't take my time,
Coloring outside the lines...
This being a simple task,
Now becomes a non-objective excuse.
Crayons rule, everytime i would color,
They are what I would choose.
