I'm so cold here in this dark place
Not a single soul or familiar face
Death is never at a friendly pace
I'm just here to think and retrace

My steps, my procedure for causing you pain
I would take it all back to fight and regain
Your love, it's the most important treasure
I wish I could lay with you again forever

I'm back here in this tragic place of hate
I'm locked in by my own sinister gate
You made me realize myself, only it's too late
I want to retry this game and seal our fate

My footprints, my marks on the wall
The blood lost, so much to make me fall
I gave you my heart and I reversed the hurt
I let you down hard and I feel so unsure

Black and red are my primary scenes
I see reflections of this mess he tries to clean
The reflection is me, I know what it means
Just take my throat and break my screams

My hands, my tools of the trade
Regret all the mistakes I ever made
I'm sorry for the dark waters you swim
I can't leave without holding you again..

hmmm a bit long but what is the meaning of regrets? o.o

a bit long? Poetry is never too long. There's something called an "epic poem" which usually includes at least 3,000 lines of poetry in it.
