I use to play WoW back before Burning Crusade and all through Burning Crusade. I played a bit of Wrath too.
My first character was a human warrior, got it to 60 and then BC came out. I made a Blood Elf Hunter and made that my main. Got my hunter to 70 (BC) and did all the raids up until the Sunwell (couldn't kill the twins :'[).
It was a lot of fun doing raids with the people in your guild while on ventrilo. I guess that's one of the reasons why I played the game and because my best friend was playing it also.
Then Wrath of the Bitch King came out. Everything got fked up. I got my huntard to 80 and did the first raid (forgot the name, you use vehicles and blow shit up). It was so boring. Felt like a shitty 5-man dungeon. No fun at all.
Blizzard has fucked up WoW. They want money so they're enabling people to PAY to change over from horde to alliance. In addition, you can PAY to change your race. They made all the classes the same because a lot of PvPers complained that they'll quit if arena is gonna be unbalanced.
WoW was the best MMORPG but it's shit now.
Playing WoW doesn't make you a nerd or a geek. There were ppl in my guild who were firefighters, models, etc. It's like any other game.
