Clockwork
Take a view from outer space
See the tick, tick, ticking of the world
All the people living in nations
All the animals living and breeding
All the gears of the clock doing their part
Turning each day and embracing each night
Simultaneously, they turn nonstop
Endless skies making peaceful lives
Until that one gear breaks and grinds
Then shatters the skies with blackness
Shattering the innocent happiness
Oh how foolish that gear must be
Oh how selfishly that gear turns free
How dare such an instrument made by hands
Become so disobedient to its master
Although the clock has fallen apart for an instant
The gear shall be replaced by another soon
This is clockwork, this is fate
This is what time has decided
To be a gear, that is destiny
And once a gear breaks from the frame
It is discarded, and never thought of again
So what desire is there to be free?
What incentive brings forth the ability to imagine?
If you, tiny gear, break away from the frame
I can promise you will never be seen again
