This is not actual clan news, but thought everyone should take a look.

I'm getting old and slow in these keeping up with this internet thingy (I stopepd reading tech blogs) so you may all already know this, but thought I would mention it anyway.

If you use your computer in any public Wi-Fi or an unprotected private one, be sure to be using Firefox with HTTPS-Everywhere, or you are VERY prone to getting hacked. Chances are you WILL BE HACKED if you connect to any big network (university, office, Starbucks, etc.). By hacked I mean people will gain access to your facebook, twitter, amazon, and even paypal accounts.

Also, please don't be a douche and do this to other people.

I was debating whether to link it here or not. But since a quick google search would probably yield the result real fast, I'm going to post the link. Read the info.

It's a firefox add-on, it hacks with 1 click. It's a real nuisance; I've tested it, it works.

I link it here in hopes that you guys are decent and smart about it, and because it's not really a secret, it's all over the internet.

@Cap'n

Install the add-on I mentioned in the OP and it will do so automatically.

Edit: Might not be clear: The add-on's name is HTTPS-Everywhere, it works on Firefox but there's probably equivalents in other browsers.

You can also do it manually by going to https://www.facebook.com instead of http://, but I'm guessing that's probably gonna get old soon if you don't do it automatically.

At the time of this post, it's been downloaded 467,149 times. So that probably tells you something.

Yep! I only activate it when I'm at the Uni, at home I can punch my roomies in the balls if they try stuff. It disables Facebook chat, which I do use, because it doesn't support secure connections.
