pWp: Black Ops Player Card Contest

First topic message reminder :

Since Killbox wants to start a pWp version of the clan for CoD: Black Ops..... The one thing I notice a bit is that some clans opt to not just use clan tags, but also have uniformed player cards that stand out as well. If the pWp: BO section takes off, I would like to have at least 1 player card that clan members can opt to use.

Now, I understand that most don't have the game or if they do, it's not on PC.... So I found a site that allows you to test player card setups.

As of now, there is no prizes or anything for the best one but... In the future, if the section gets some kind of attention outside of our current forum members, I may find a way to "gift" the game to the person who makes the best card.

Again, anyone can try, no programs needed, and knowledge of graphic arts is not really necessary.

Also, if all goes well, I will purchase a server for Black Ops and pWp that will announce our site address often to drum up traffic.

Once you have made a player card you want considered, please use print screen and post. Make sure you copy the entire box so you can show what you used. Also post any extra instructions that are needed.

I like the one you did just wish the p's would be lowercase is all.

Eh, can't really do much as far as upper or lower case letters, but I thought the same thing.

Sooo, what I think would really help us in "taking off" (no, not our clothes.) Is the new thing Activision is putting together..codenamed "Call of Duty:Elite". Read about it, it's interesting...it's implementing Facebook into, and you can get clans together, schedule games, and go play. It also shows what players are online/friends/family and all that..it looks pretty legit..I personally think if we utilize this..it will greatly affect our cause to become something out there in this chaotic universe we call "Call of Duty". But regardless, respect for our clan could become...world domination, before we know it..pWp can become a sensation that sweeps America. In turn we would receive much respect because of our clan personality...regardless...we will NOT, and I repeat NOT ever be competitive and trail off from our golden rule as we did in Quake 3.

I do strongly abide by that, if you feel need to get competitive..I have Ventrilo. We can use it, rant in there and to eachother. Also, other clans..we can invite in the Ventrilo server. They can use it as well..we will build relationships from there, gain respect and eventually make something of it with the other clans on the CoD universe. The info is on the forums somewhere.

And no Data, they want to keep it free. Just as they do with multiplayer and online and shit. Soooooo, yeah I really want to promote this when they do release it...dude..if we could have our clan with a fair play, skilled (to some extent), good attitude it would be golden. Like..family friendly (along with the foul language because I can't go a day without swearing). But..everyone could play and it would bring people together. Us, especially..after all we are pWp, we are a family.

Not from what I read, which was 3 days ago. So I don't know, it intertwines it with Facebook, so that technically would be paying for Facebook..I dunno.

With PC, it's ran through Steam..they're going to charge through Steam? Just sayin', everything intermingles with itself..so. That's why I have my doubts.

They are saying it's free......but there is "paid options". I assume maps, stats, and other benefits (as I read elsewhere). Those will either be a pay per option or pay per month. Most I have read said they expect a $5-8 a month charge for all the extras.

And as far as it being part of facebook and having a pay option.....has nothing to do with facebook. Almost every game on facebook has a pay to play option as well as free. Those companies are not part of facebook or are you required to play/pay. So, they can have facebook options in a pay to play game.
