They have 'pussied' it up but it is still more physical then soccer.

By the way the new rule they just approved:
Instead of kicking kickoffs from the 35yrd line it is now from the 30yrd line. They did this in hopes kickers would get more touch backs and to reduce injuries on kickoffs. In other words these return specialists don't really have a job anymore as they have less chances to score.

and...there won't be a season this year. so whats it matter? :p

Time will tell. It isn't full on official yet but probably will be. All because the owners and players are greedy.
