Team Fortress 2 IS 100% FREE ON STEAM

As the title says, Team Fortress 2 is 100% free on steam forever, no bullshit demos or anything. I don't know if it'll always be available to download, so I downloaded it anyway to make sure I don't get noobed. It's supposed to be a fun game from what I've heard. It's a ~10gb download (but it's free). You've been warned

I got it yesterday, havent played yet though. Looks fun.

Downloading

Tried to get into a server for 30 minutes today. Either the server not responding error, or server full when I actually got a connection. Then after 1 or 2 tries, the server list says there is no internet.


So, have fun with that game I have that same problem with almost all steam games cs/css/hl2. As do many many people...

I've never had that problem with any of those games, don't know anybody who has. You should probably look into it. On a side note, it's a fun game. Played some yesterday when I had time. Just leave your pc on when you sleep = dl done when u wake up

Google "server not responding steam"...... you will see how many threads after threads are made with the same problem. Looking at steams forums, they have never responded with a fix in the past 4 years, that I have seen. Like I said though, I had the same problem with CSS and HL2. I actually emailed them about it years ago 3 times, they never responded.

You had this problem even on a newer computer than before? Bet it's something to do with port-forwarding.

i'd dl it but Canada has greedy ISPs. This 10mbps internet has only 60gb bandwidth and I pay over 60 bucks every month. The modem alone costs 7. I'll get it if I have some free bandwidth (:.

Had this problem on 3 computers. With and without a router/ports forwarded. I contacted steam a long time ago cause it happened with CSS, they never replied. I've also seen a ton of threads on it at the steam forums, they never reply there. CSS use to work 1 out of every 20 times I tried it...... so it's not every single time, just most of the time. Same with this game.....I just don't feel like trying 20 times.
