Can't you recover documents by system restore?

Not that I recommend that but just an idea.

I Just got here!

system restore can bring back old version of system files like drivers and that also not always work, if I good remember it doesn't work on recycle bin or my documents folder

recovery programs is best choice although there is one not cool detail
data on HDD are stored in sectors, when one sector is full comp save data in next sector, etc.
if you remove smth from 1st sector, anything what you gonna install/save will be placed in "holes" which has been made there when you deleted part of stored data
if in part of the sector where was your lost files has been installed something else, most likely you wont get your files back
(unless you have access to programs and stuff which random user can't even dream about)

so following this, if you installed the recovery program on same partition, this files has been lost most likely for good
but well there is always some small chance that part of it is still possible to get back, you can try other recovery program but remember to install it on different partition
