As of recently I been putting my computer to hibernate before I go to lunch at work and what not but I come back and it starts up fresh and I lose what I was working on.

Here is the problem I am getting. I Google'd it a little bit and found that it is a CPU problem possibly.

Now from what I read I am getting that my CPU is either over heating or going bad. What is your take on this, what do I do to solve it?

A topic I found regarding this.. Windows 7 - Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

I know my laptop gets hot but can it be getting that hot? I am in a well ventilated area and also have a cooling fan under my laptop..

I had PS, ID and Chrome running when I put it to hibernate. (all of which were CS3)
