Server is down, I repeat server is down.

TNT crashed the server.

BK, SCV and I were placing a couple things of TNT and it crashed.

ONLY a couple...

It's the Endermans fault.

They been planning this for a while as you can see.

so wait i have question cuz im noob at minecraft.... i have 1.0.0 and whats up with the little green 2 at the bottom ? cuz i have that too... when i kill zombies it adds 1 and theres a little green bar under it that slowly fills up ....

It is experience of your player. You use your experience to enchant armor, weapons and tools.

Also your house will be fine, Jeff just needs to get on web console and restart the server. Use to happen when we messed with server settings in Quake or certain maps did it.

I honestly didn't think you could have such a large explosion that it would crash the server. It was pretty for the time it lasted

in my experience, it takes hundreds if not thousands of tnt to successfully down a server

JUST SAYING

There's a lot of different variables. If you place 100 tnt, it will do nothing, If you place 100 tnt at the same time someone else is across the map generating more map boundaries...it may crash.

It will also crash just having a bunch of people run in opposite directions due to the memory being tapped trying to write all the changes at once.

You have to remember, the save is automatic and has to keep up with everything going on. Large alterations at once or large sections being generated can shut the server down. It's all memory based.

We had the server crash a few times before due to me pushing the map boundaries while 5 others were building/mining. On the server alone, that will rarely do anything. The more people on, the more memory is being used...

It's the same idea as having a q3 map with 64 slots. It can be done, but makes the server unstable at times. And yes, I have tried that.

OK, I admit it, we were messing around with large TNT explosions LOL.

It all started out try to find a strong hold which was NOT around where the Eye of Ender said it was around.

What we started doing was blowing up some walls to see if it was within a radius which started getting annoying just placing a few down at a time so we eventually upped the TNT dosage. We did that for a while and just got fed up with the lies that the Eye told us and decided to make a bigger explosion which did lag a bit but was okay.

We then decided to mess around with the Enderman and place a bunch of TNT which was about 700+ TNT and that is what did it. At least us three enjoyed it

How did you use creative mode on my smp server?

did the server crash again? O.O

I went and restarted it, again. I have no clue why it is randomly crashing now. It's the 3rd time.
