hello everyone . yes i am back n rdy to get this rust off me hahaa. just need some help with q3 i got full q3 but cant figure out how to get on the servers...says server uses protocol ..whatever so if some 1 could help me xfire:mikey29 plz and ty

Welcome back, as for the server protocol, try /reconnect.

alright but i think it might be a patch i need ot sumthing.

Idk, I've had times where I tried to join a server and it said that, and then I reconnected and everything was better.

/edit: Just read another topic similar to this on n2p forums, guy Googled protocol 71-74 and somehow found the solution.

ima just follow tads q3 install just gunna reinstall n follow hopefully it works. xD and what noghost to use?

how do i make it full scrreeen haha i put it in fullscreen mode n its just a box still with like black on the side ... and it dims in full screen mode dosnt stay bright when not in full screen

The protocol is the point release. If you are set to 1.16, you can't join a 1.32 server...and vice versa. You need to make sure you have installed the 1.16 first, then try to reconnect. If it still has the same error, then you also have another point release installed. You will have to get a switcher to set it. O can't remember the name, but it was something like OFX Switcher.....

Well Tad beat me to it but yea get 1.16 and it will fix the problem.
