XFire??

Ok, I have a question about joining this clan. If I were ever to be able to join pwp is it a requirement to have Xfire? My parents are VERY strict and I'm not allowed to download anything of the internet (not even Itunes) If I can't download Xfire then will I never be able to join pwp? Thanks a bunch for the help!

I don't have xfire and I'm our most prized member so I don't think it's a necessity but I guess TaD or Virt would be best to answer this question.

Do you play Q3 or QL?

Also it would be a good idea for you to have it so we can contact you when we need someone for a scrim or what not but it isn't necessary.

Just go ahead and apply just make sure you post screenshots of your games and show us that your active & loyal.

I'm not gonna lie I'm a noob... I'm pretty sure that QL is the one with demo.. but I'm not sure. I play with the full version. And I don't know how to post screen shots... lol

Q3 is Quake III: Arena which would be the 10 year old game as opposed to QL which is fairly new.

Qlive apps do not need xfire since the game has a chat program with it... Q3 apps do...

Would have been nice if you had told me that when I applied. I almost didn't apply because it said in big yellow letters ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE XFIRE or something like that. Just imagine what would have been if I had never joined..
