yea i learned from him,
note: its good idea to remove all screenshots from the folder in your baseq3 before making a video of your demo. back up the ss's or do whatever you want or move them to different folder.Record a demo of yourself, 1st step.
then before you watch the demo you recorded.
type in console:
/cl_avidemo 25then after that type:
/demo (demo-name)now load the demo and let it play all the way through, or far enough for the part you want in your video.
after the demo is done type:
/demo stoprecordthen exit quake 3 arena go to baseq3 folder and go to screenshots..
here will be many screenshots here, as a .tga file format. now you need to get the program needed to convert all the screenshots into a video. this program is called: pjBmp2Avi
with the program just select the input folder, (the location where the ss are)
then the output folder where the avi video will be saved (desktop)
then press convert. the ss get converted from .tga > .avi format.
With the newly found .avi demo of yourself now you can add music and transitions and have some fun with it. hope this helps, let me know if you have questions! ribbit^
lastly, to add music and transitions the program listed above doesn't do that for you,
try camtasia studio or windows movie maker, or just google it.
