Our Quake History. =)

Well...I read Tad's post about pWp history...and I was wondering...how about we also post about our own Quake history! xD
This goes in correlation to further help Tad with the pWp history. =)

Well...about Killbox...as we know him....

Well...I started playing Quake about...the time of September 2007. I was a noob and really didn't know what to do..I was always a fan of Quake but never took the time to play it. So I decided..."hey I'll try it out?". Well...I googled Quake 3..and got the demo..and started playing...I was pretty bad...terrible, rather. Playing bots on easy and losing horribly. So I decided to go play Multiplayer.

The first server I ever logged on was Emoticon 1v1. I faced someone and did pretty good 4-7...we we're using railguns. So I'm like cool. I continued to play the game and logged on Emoticon for the next week. I met some guy in TLK (Tender Loving Killers) I faced him and beat him. I asked.."Hey, can I join your clan? He's like, "Sure." So...I took up the tag. At the time my name was Raypme (Tooken from Nirvana's song "Rape me.") He said the clan was dead, so they recruited whoever. And Raypme/TLK/ was born.

I didn't see many members on..So I lost interest in the clan...So, two weeks went by..and by that time I've been to many more servers. One of my favorites Dallas, was the second of many servers I played on..and that is when I met Vege!a (AkA Obel!x) We faced eachother and I told him I've been playing for 2 weeks. And he was clanless, so Vege!a and I decided to make a clan...We made RU (Railer's United) we recruited about 1 person and we didn't have a server..so it didn't last long. It died after 2 weeks...after that we stuck together and made .nWo. we recruited a few members got a site registered and Obel!x started a home server as did I.

The members we recruited weren't active. So...me and Obby did our own thing...he said "I'mma go look for other clans to join...What are you gonna do?" I said "I'm gonna try and keep nWo alive"...from there..that didn't work to well...considering I wasn't much better then the average moron. So...I stayed in nWo for 3 weeks and went rogue from there. I stayed solo and decided to make my own club..called dS. (Death Symptom.) I got really bored with it, because no one wanted to join.

So...one day Obel!x messaged me..."Hey man, what happened to nWo?" I said "It died man...every thing is fucked up." He's like.."That sucks man." I asked him..."Nice you're in pWp..I seen a few of them around here and there..how are they?" He told me they we're an awesome just fun loving clan. So...two days went by from there and I was in Dallas. That is when I saw *pWp*FroG and I was spectating..and the game ended..all the GG's went by..and I asked Frog if I could join pWp, so he told me to go to this server and we scrimmed...I did pretty well the first game. I beat him! (Take that FroG!) by a buttload..after that he creamed me. And I was a wee but upset cuz I didn't beat him the second time..and I thought I didn't get in...but he told be to tag up. I asked him.."Can I change my name?" He's like "Sure, to what?" I'm like..."Kill...Killbox." He's like "Killbox?" I'm like.."Yeah..You know...a box of Killing..considering it's Quake..and the maps are kinda like boxes and we kill eachother in them."

Since then...I've been here..with my family. =) Thanks guys..for adopting me and allowing be to be a big part of this family..I'd like to thank everyone. =) Especially FroG for allowing me to join in the first place. And Obby (Even though he's not here today) for even bringing the name into context. And I want to thank everyone else for support and encouragement throughout the months(Neko...you're one of these people man, you played a big role.). Live on pWp. May the family stay together forever.

well whan i came back form jail bla bla you now .....I got my stuff right got a pc ...tthna one day i wa slike yo quake 3 since iv played it in 1999to 2002 I was liek I wonder if any of my old frinds still play ....... Well I got demo joined in the arner and the frist server was uR ,,,,,,, K well I played for 3 days strit to get my game back and it was coming back but i played in uR server with spawn and evil one day they asked if i woul dlike a try out and i tryed out and the score was 18 to 25 yayayay what ever but i got in and i was liek kool ok than I whan forum a member to a C than I got botted ... I woke up got to pc and seen on xfire sorry but we have to let you go I was like WTF,,, they syed i was a on and off to much kind of guy ohh well ... so I left and started to play in pwp server with tad I asked him abut the clan he told me to go post so I did and yo unow I posted what i had to and I whated along time to get my tryout I was realy patishin with it an whated and did not bug at all and frog owne me did a woopen I had to get my self back to gther ....... I got a T than start to scrim and got member.... than one day I was playing gunt with wifey and she asked me to go post abut me being a C ... I was liek umka and posted and I got it... And yes I was in king whan i was in pwp tad had found out that king was a clan I was told it was a club but it got chaged so I had to make my dishin pWp or king well tad sked me and I was liek mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ... If im right I told him well I like yo uppl you guys are nice to me and U make me fell liek th eold dayes some times whan i play I have fun with you so i was like fuck king pWp ... well as time whant on ppl left and trid to make me live ..I amit I almost left pWp liek 4 times but hung in thire cuse i fell this is were im needed and ever alwes told me im a nice fellow to paly with and realy respicetful to ppl evin whan they bitch at me I keep my kool ...but I wil defind pWp for any clan member thats whay im the moucle in the clan tthe only one and i will defind tham I love this clan and will stay with it til the end if the clan ever stoped palying I would to you guys are the only reasin I play still this game realy old to me yo uhave no idey ..... but yada yada 7 months later I got cL and was liek kool and that showed me that this is were im sopos to be thore all the shit that happin my clan m8 held in thire with me and helped me thore ppl saying im a hacker to poving tham worng and all the demos and ppl heting me for my coolnies I cant help it im a chilled kind of guy and tad/hool /porn/frog/killbox/wifey I gled you I came here make me fell good to have close frind in a game i palyed as a kid once ...... To Killbox's post. Im glad you were inspired to make a new topic and start this. I loved your story bro. Cant ever say how huge of a part of this clan you have been. I am honored to have you in the family.

Neko...Wow, nice post. You posted things exactlly as I remember them. And yes, you are, and always be the "Muscle" of the clan. With out you, ppl would have talked alot of shit. You threw it back at them and shut them up. You protected our reputation from the time you joined. As well, I am honored to have you part of *pWp*.

Well, since I'm not long enought in *pWp* to be a part of any history, I'll post my own as how I came to be here :]

Ok, well, first time I've ever thought of playin quake on multiplayer was about in July previous year. I got myself a demo from a cd-magazine and started having my ass raped. First servers I've ever played were 1v1 Clan Rail (or somethin like that) I was gettin addicted to that.
I mostly played that server, cause I didn't find interest in TDM maps. However I started login into Dallas, H$ server, and some onther I cant remember now. My first nick ever was *Azu*, Simple letter, no colors. Funny thing, I've never knew how to make colors, and I was a pretty damn noob with it.
I continued playin, as time went by, I grew pretty good. I started havin 1st places on TDM maps.

On September, previous year, I met a funny guy. His name was Big*Buck. He was and still his my very best friend in quake 3. We started playin on 1v1 Clan Rail. I didn't know why, but since we met, our skills were equal.
We continued playin on other server. Buck taught me how to make colors, change brightness and other usefull stuff.
Thanks to him, I learned much in quake. THanks Buck <3

Anyway, a month later, buck come to 1v1 Clan Rail, where I was, and offers me a tryout in newly created clan, R.o.S.
That was my very first clan I've ever been, and I won't forget the athmosphere there.
The clan leader was RancidRail. So I got my tryout, and got into R.o.S. We continued having scrims with many clans, some good ones some bad ones. It was a really good time. I had much fun. I met there lots of friends. Paki, Vixen, Nemesis, Achilles, Trigun, Reversal, and much more.

However, 2-3 months later, issues came up. RancidRail was becoming too cocky, he was losin his aouthority as a Captain. R.o.S got banned.I still kept in touch with Buck.
I got informed that RancidRail is makin a new clan (Devils Reject), so me and buck decided to join. This was our worst decision eva. The clan was dead from the start, nothing was going on, no interest in it at all. We quit.
Then, me and buck decided to make our own clan, *S*S, StonedSociety. I was never a leader type person, so i didn't want to be a Captain. We managed to gather some people, but they didn't respect me, either did buck. I told him I quit, as it was pointless. *S*S got banned.
I was clanless. I kept playin other servers, Insomnia, Mongolian and other.
Buck told me he has a dillema, either join *pWp* or create a new clan with his friend, Lego. I told him do what you want, He told me he'll join *pWp* if i join. I said I'll consider it.
A month ago? More or less, he told me he joined and wants me in! I didn't feel like joinin a clan, but gave it a try. I posted, had a warm welcome, and a tryout with frog. As usual I was dead nervous, but I managed to do well to get my T.

a Week later i got my full membership, and as it is now. I'm a proud member of *pWp* family.

Tada... xD Not too long as I don't have many memories from since I started playin, and hoo, it wasn't that long ago

Alright once upon a time in 9th, a kid in our computer class played a game, called quake. Others quickly joined in, I, However was more in MVC and emulators and roms in my free time in the class. But one tiime i heard one kid gettin super hype over it, Swearing and thrashing about in his chair, I look over to him and wonder, "The FUCK is his problem?" I check out his computer screen and there is this unfamiliar game, quick do i notice that Alot of people Are playing it, (the demo of course) They had created a room were they all PLayed against eachother on the same server.

(All the computers were hooked up the relatively the same connection, henceforth we played on LAN, No lag, its perfect, although of course, no railjumping and the server is normal)

I asked one of my friends (Billy, The show yourself forum, last pic the one with the fists) How to get the game. He installed it on my comp in class and i began playing with the others. About 5-7 of us started out at first, As being a quick learner I advanced to being the best player Out of the group, within the week. We played mostly on,

On what we called, the "Space" board, And the "Railroom"(Normal in Q online) Board. At the time, I also installed it on my PC at home, Getting into the Online servers and learning more things. I forgot what name i preferrably used, but i think it was Hysteric Blue. Shortly I joined the H$ clan. How the hell i got in, i have NO IDEA. However i do remember the clan being fun, But the only person i really remember from it was H$ BUZZ, he was actuall pretty nice to me. Taught me a few things.

I dont exactly remember my skill level seeing how i was in 9th grade and now I am a senior. But, Anyway, My mom forgot to pay the Internet bill and i lost the ability to play Q Online at home. One month turned into a few and a few turned into about 2 years? So therefore i lost contact with h$ and lost membership by Idle-ness. During that time I've been playing Q at school With my friends every computer period. Only one person was my Equal, My cousin, He destroyed me with the rail gun, Which i found was obsolete since i hated having to take those few seconds to aim, I'd preferr running up on some1 with a plasma gun or taking them out with rockets.

This continued on till 11th grade, when we got internet BACK! , and i got a job at subway to help keep that internet! (which i do!) I started playing online again, I remember my first time back i couldnt wait to talk to Buzz again, i had my H$ tag on and everything, But when i went to the server, I got a huge FLAME Session from current h$ members, I cant blame them, It was a bit ignorant of me to expect to still be in after such a long time away and no contact. And unfortunately Buzz and the few people he was friendly with had dissapeared within my Leave. So I was out of H$.. I couldnt find servers That i like really, that had a feel i was used to, so i confided myself in r@zer, it was always populated, i always found a good match and ended up at least Top 3 every game i played.

Durng this Time I tried to find another clan, My first Was Ur, I wasnt to privy on clan statuses and was just eager to get in one so i lurked around the members for a while, and got a tryout by a guy Name "BACON" I got in and five minutes later Another member from Ur Accused me a tag stealin, Of course I defended myself promptly and gave him the name of the Tryout Partner, "BACON" He, "NINJA" Told me that BACON wasnt in charge of tryouts and that he had no position to do that. SO i un-tagged And searched around for Bacon :/ Found him on a server with a bunch of Ur Members, He promtly ignored Me, and when he actually gave me an answer he revoked ever even Knowing me.. I still have no clue what the hell happened, Hell he had even given me his XFIRE..

After that I was, of course pissed, and quit quake(online) for a while. However i still played in computer class. I just started again a few months Back, and again I tried to Find a Clan. EKZ was my Next Choice. Mainly because I had played a few of their members at the time, and could keep up, if not to better than them. And there was this guy Named "OUTLAW" that I know hacked occasionally, but he never got angry when he didnt hack and got owned,. He was always cheerful and making jokes, I still see him in razer causing havok! we'd argue over nothing to pass the time, calling eachother names, and laughing at the people who would take us seriously. Ekz Never Responded. I remember at that time seeing Lady Thong And Beast Play a bit In the R@zer server i was in. I loved playing against them because they were so damn Skilled! I was like "Shyt!, I gotta play them sum more and get better!" At this time they were PwP and i didnt think ihad a HELL's chance to get in! I remember seeing Tomma Now a bit as well, as i recall! I jumped from room finding "Papa's" Server were more advanced players dwelled, and then Finding Dallas! Were i promtply got a helluva asswhuppin, But wanted to get better so i stuck around a bit, rotating between those three servers. A coupla months later i thought HELL, lemme at least,TRY Pwp.

Thats when i came to this forum, I cant exactly remember who gave me The Site name...hmm.. But..sO as most of ya know, i participated in the forums and Neko Requested i get a tryout!(Thanks Buddy!)

It happened sooner than I expected but i got one from T@D, the score was 10-15? His Victory! My leg wouldnt stop shakin, I was nervous as well! But he said Vgg so i felt good about the loss, I was more in worried with getting better, So if i did get in, I wouldnt dissapoint!

However! even before that, Killbox has been training Me for a bit, Hell Killbox was training ME when I got acceptance as a Pwp in "T"(training?) member.. I see that PwP is more like a big Lovable Family( another word Clan! AWESOME!) Brothers and sisters arguin over Nothing, and having fun at the same time!

My perception of Members i've met!
Wifey:, overall has been the Most friendly, hittin me up on Xfire and bein Mature in speech and such!

Rambo: is like A kid Brother who ya Love to Hate, Just Startin shyt with him is fun!

Killer: iS just all around a funny guy, Who i'd hate to leave the clan..Cause I'd find him...and kill him...

Neko:/ Laharl Is The best guy with the Worst spelling! Who draws the best piccs In the universe! He is also an

excellent Sniper, and tactiction against My style of play(in Q)

T@D: iS the best leader I've seen so far, Always into his members, speaks politely and in intellgent manner and is loved by his members!
I like ghost Mainly because he seems like the exact opposite oF me, He Makes sense and uses he brain!

Frog: Is my fav, Mainly because they way he is portrayed by others! In T@D's story He was the brother who got On their Nerves with the online game, but In the long run, he paved the way for this opportunity for us all!

Killbox: has excellent leadership qualities, He runs me through alot of things on Quake in his spare time, He taught me peek-a-boo tactics and everything! and excellent trainer!

, And thats why its the Best gaym Eva!

Ok. My brother Dan(his name was babyeater) went to boarding school where he was introduced to Quake froma freind and every1 there played. He played a lot during the summer and i watched every second he played. I was too scared to ask to play and finally when he was going to hockey he asked if i could play. I played capture the flag all day and he came home like8 hours later and i was still playing. i had so much fun and was a complete noob but was addicted already. I started playing all the time on his computer but he went back to school and took his comp.....he came home for the weekend one day and installed demo for me. I was so happy and instantly went on and first went to the Caping Server and played there for like 2 months. I made my first name (rdsxfn88) and I got good at camping and learned how to color name and other stuff and one day got Asked to join Da....noob clan...i joined and was so happy but left right away for the clan DS...ran by altima...another noob clan and i met my best friend on quake at the time(RawPower havent seen him in so long) and was playing for 10 hours a day. I was getting good and another person that i met was Nightmare in ICP and he helped me a lot...hes in King right now...i finally left camping server and started playing at other servers and got really good. I was really addicted. Fianlly i went to a server where i met Bloodbath(in UE) and HellRaizer who were making a clan. I wanted in and they said yes. I was in pWd and i loved it. I changed my name to bostonand I was CL and the clan was going good and we borrowed s server from eRa but then me and hellraizer started disagreeing with each other and he ruined the clan. I quit quake for 6 months then came back for a little just to play for a few hours then i was off but i got addicted agan. I got really good and was asked to xpr and did....funnest clan ever except for pWp. It died after a few months. I quit again for 1 year and my brother never played.(I owned him. I came back and met Frog. We became freinds and we went to servers and had fun messing with graviuty and railspped and everything. it was a fun clan not serious and i wanted to join. I made the name Babykiller which my brother gave me. I posted and im in =). Here i am now...

Note- my brother always made fun of clans so i was always trying to hide me being in clans andit worked until i was scrimming with frog at 1 am and i was a T when my brother came home. I didnt want him to know and i just left the scrim...sorry frog lol.....i couldnt exit out because i had an xfire lol....he asked to playt and played like a noob and loked at stats and saw i was in a clan....he didnt care at all lol....i dont know why i was scared for him to find out but i was....Now i play in scrims with hima round and feel more relaxed =)

my story is not as long as most of yours but here it goes...

In september of 2007 my brothers where still the annoying little brats they are today and took over the computer. they went online to find a game called quake 3. Feeling my braincells dieing i let them put the demo on the computer (it was all i could find for free).
i hated it till i found the multiplayer (amazed that the demo would have it). i started doing 1v1 matches and for a long time that was good. then came boardom. i decided to go tdm seeming that it would be a nice contrast to 1v1. i (unfortunitely) was right. by this time it was october and found a few people to hang with.

i didnt start in a clan till the next month. i joined pkc (a small clan starting out). through them i started INV a clan that was undefeated till its death. in inv i had Neko (yes the pwp member he is today) who left uR due to poor management and brought alot of people with him. Neko ended up being my second leader and all was well untill he left me to fend on my own (taking all the members he got for me with him).then the clan died from the change that was bound to happen ever since my brothers found quake.

i got the full version just after holloween thanks to a friend and his computer that copied the disk. since i couldent get to my normal servers i started searching for a new place and people to hang with. first place i came was to 2k7 (2k8 now) and started talking to a guy named turtle who was in 2k7(yes agian now a member of pwp). i sucked. it was because of the change i left all previous clans i was in (inv and pkc). i failed when i tried for 2k7 like i predicted and went off in a serch to find a new clan. i was working to make a new clan of my own when i stumbled on pwp. I got to know tad and frog (tad looked out for me and frog i think wanted to kill me). not knowing where to go i went back to the old server pkc was in.

i didnt find pkc when i returned but a clan called wsk was there. i knew some wsk due to the close relation it had with pkc. so i joined and was the weakest one there. after a time i changed my old clan inv into a club. from there i made c4 a recruitment clan for wsk. all seemed to be ok till i had 2 deaths in the family my great grandma died then 3 weeks later my grandma died. i fell into a depression. i decided that i troubled wsk enough with my sorrow so i quit to move to a more settled clan.

that day i got a message from wifey begging me to join pwp. i decided to get to know a few more people before i actually tried out. It was then i realized that i knew a fair ammount of people and would eventually fit in (i hoped). so here i am now and it has been a blast so far and i wanna stay!

well i would post my biography along with everyone elses but azu and i started about the same time and instantly became friends and have done everything together in quake so me writing my story would be kinda redundant to azu's story...<3 azu....xD may we share many more quake memories man but only 1 more clan....

Ok well, I haven't been playing Quake very long at all, so my story hopefully won't be too long.

Well, I'd never heard of the game Quake till about November. I was introduced to it in my Engineering Drawing class at School. Some kid had put the full version of Quake in the school's localserver, and he had made it so that the teachers couldn't delete it. They were never able to track who did it, but most of us have an idea. Anyway, my engineering teacher goes to a college to teach every Wednesday, so we always have a sub that day of the week. Every wednesday, all of us would load up quake and play all-weapons on a local server. So, I started as a supa noob, and steadily progressed. Around late December, when I had plenty of time home on vacation, I decided to install Quake to my computer.

I ran the demo version of Quake and discoverd the RAZR FREEZE RAIL server. I fell in love with it instantly and learned little by little how everything worked. After playing there day after day, I began to notice some pWp, such as T@D, hooligan, and others. I believe I asked if they had a site, and was responded with a bind direction me to the clan site.

So, I went here and put in my application. After posting once every two days, I was given a tryout scrim by T@D himself about a week after. It was a good game, 25-15 I believe, T@D whipped me
So, I was let in as a T. I talked to Wifey alot, but I didn't have any Xfires, and I didn't have a lot of time on the forum itself. So, after not posting very often, pWp denied my tag. But, enough people backed me up (Wifey, Hool, Neko) because they had scrimmed frequently with me late at night when I had time, and Porn and the other leaders let me stay. After that, I went back to a T. I was on Trial for around 2months, and in that time I greatly fell in love with the clan and all its players.
I didn't want to be accepted into the clan unless it was a unanymous vote(everyone says yes) because I did not want to gain any enemies, and I wanted to be accepted by all, not just majority. Basically, I wanted to smooth over all differences.
Well, I joined, made a lot of new friends, and here I am now.
I LOVE this clan and I come home every day to post and play with you guys. You are my family, and my first and only clan.
