CoD: Modern Warfare 3

I'm liking this quite a bit. There is some things Black Ops had that I wish was in MW3, but there's some new stuff that makes it worth it.

Here's some SS from my SP game.

I never play tdm... So my kdr isnt important to me as much. Quite a few times I die just to draw people's fire. I just play for fun.

My main game is kill confirmed. I concentrate a lot on getting confirms and denies. Doing that leaves me open often. Considering how many denies I usually get, a 1 kdr is actually pretty good.

the only gamemodes i play are TDM, FFA, and Domination. the objective gametypes don't appeal to me all that much. and i hate S&D with a passion.

In Black Ops, S&D and HQ were my favorites.

the reason i hate S&D so much is because of the campers AND the one-life-per-round thing. you die and you're done until next round. also, i despise people who camp, it's infuriating when you find someone with so little skill, that they sit in one little place and attempt to get high killstreaks by ambushing people that walk through the area

From the games I've played, kill streaks in SnD are pretty rare. High end kill streaks are all but non existent. And even if you got one, it is fairly pointless since there is no respawns and short rounds.

Which was why I loved the fact that I sucked too much to be able to get high end killstreaks period, I didn't have to switch my lower-count ones.

Here's a game I played. Nothing great, but not too bad. I think I went 17-4. And I forgot to turn the sound back on Fraps....

So I got the game free for xbox 360 (won a competition) and really enjoyed the survival mode on split screen. So I figured me and a friend would buy it on the pc mostly to play survival without the split screen. We played and I am astounded by whoever created the lag compensation in survival mode. Basically, because I have a faster connection than my friend I am penalized and I can't explain it but it seems like there is an ongoing lag delay by about 5 seconds per minute, by the fourth wave I am finished the wave and my friend is still doing it. That isn't even possible. Not only that, it seems although it's a bot playing for him on my screen and a bot playing for me on his screen because my teammate gets "downed" all the time when he hasn't actually been downed yet and the same goes for me on his screen. So we are trying to play and the server is registering us on different sides of the map, we are getting shot dead all the time because its almost as if we are in a different dimension where time is broken lol. I must say I am extremely disappointed by that because it was the biggest factor for me actually buying the game. I love co-op games. Again neither of us were lagging and even IF somebody was to lag there shouldn't ever be a delay as big of 30 seconds even around the other side of the world on a basic DSL connection, my friend is from NY i am in London. 120MS MAX. I still can't understand why it seems like its a bot playing, I mean it showed at the end of the round that my friend had only killed like 4 people and I killed the rest and it was the opposite for him on his screen. Even when he got downed he was trying to crawl towards me when he wasn't even downed on his screen wtf? Oh and if you don't help your teammate up you lose...

I really do hope they take this lag compensation out of survival mode / spec ops, I don't really care about the other aspects of online play.

On a better note though, I'm glad I only payed $20 for it.
