English teacher by day, porn star by night

I watch tosh.0 and liked them on Facebook so every day I get these updates and this was one of them.

Thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss, do you think it is okay?

I honestly think people are making a big deal about it. Look no one knew about it before the news brought it up and I doubt kids going to that high school are looking up gay porn on their English teacher. Anyways I understand it is a touchy subject just because he is a high school teacher and around kids but honestly unless he is harassing the kids or whatever then he isn't violating anything right? It is in his own time and if he wants to fuck a dude and enjoys it then more power to him.

This is just my opinion but I would love to see yours.

In my opinion, they should simply keep a bit more of an eye on him a far as what he says to the students, just to make sure he's not trying to harass them, but if he's making gay porn on his own time, then that's his right I guess. Not like teachers get paid a whole lot..

Its sad that in this economy, an otherwise successful porn star has to sink to the low level of teaching to make ends meet. I blame Obama.

Those are the reasons stories like that make news. Some people seem to think that everything they disagree with that happens outside of employment, effects their work. (Not saying you 2, but even the process of reiterating that a teacher......works with kids, proves that point).

Any legal actions by anyone outside if their work environment should always be their own business. And in my opinion.... people that live "out side of the box" are the kind of people that should be teachers. They tend to be more understanding an accepting since society makes them look like a minority due to their actions.

But lets be honest..... this wouldn't be an issue if it was a man in straight porn, and less of an issue then it is if it was a woman in straight porn. Unfortunately, there still is sexism. What it boils down to is there are still loud voices out there that truly believe if they kids are taught something in a school setting by someone who is gay, an atheist, or a Muslim..... their teachers are some how pointing them in their direction and "destroying" the kids.

It's all bullshit and we need to keep our noses out of someones life outside of their profession.

I agree and I think one of the comments on there was saying how Fox brought this up and made a big deal about it. I am pretty sure someone went to them about it but come on now they didn't need a guy and a camera to wait for the teacher to come out and start questioning him. That is none of their business, that is none of my business and none of the rest of the worlds.

They act like it was Dateline NBC - To catch a predator. Questioning him and asking him questions that are very idiotic. They OBVIOUSLY know its him, the pictures look exactly like him but yet they insist on getting footage to air on T.V. to make a big deal about it and to cause drama and problems.

I guess you could say because of recent events that took place in sports that they are cracking down a bit on it but I highly doubt this is the issue because it had to do with his personal life outside of school.

You know what they should have done instead of embarrassing the guy and possibly ruining his life/reputation? They could have brought it to attention of the administration and then sat down and talked to him privately but instead they are recording interviews with him and parents of students that go to that school.

And to add.... I watched the news report. Fucking insane. First off, no shock it's fox news. They LOVE to exploit gay people. He passed background checks, was praised as a teacher....and that's all they should base everything on.

And morality? Who exactly decides what is moral? It's so aggravating that even the "reporter", which I say lightly since Fox news people are as bias as they can be, asked if the teacher "thought it was appropriate to be teaching kids". What kind of stupid question is that? They have not stated one issue regarding his work or work ethics.....which is what matters. But leave it to Fox news to destroy the lives of people they disagree with.

And typical Fox fashion, they wait till the end of the story after telling you how "shocking" things are, replaying the same thing over and over and over again, to say "well, he didn't do anything illegal" only to immediately follow it with "BUT...there's the moral issue". Fuck you Fox.

Piece of shit company, criminal owner, lying sacks. That company should be removed from all the media channels Murdoch owns.

I don't watch the news a lot, partly because I don't have TV but from what I hear a lot of people don't like Fox. This just proves how bad they are.

All you need to do, if not having a TV, is watch the replay of the Daily Show, and Rachel Maddow. Honestly, that will cover all the news you "need" to know, in 1:22 hours a day.

I highly suggest the Rachel Maddow show for "full" political/social news.... the Daily Show is less extensive, but fantastic. TYT is also amazing.

Only news I ever watched was The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, and the Colbert Report. Mostly cuz they pointed out the biased bullshit Fox news spews out.

Also, the only reason I said to keep an eye on him in my last post, was cuz it would be the best middle ground to come to from parents and the school board. He's praised as a teacher, so obviously he's a good one and is loved by students, so he does his job well, but parents will dislike the fact that he does porn(and they'd dislike it even if it was "straight porn" as well, cuz they'd think he was promoting sex to the students), but if he's watched a little more closely with what he says and things, it could be what everyone agrees on. I've seen teachers hit on students and get with them when I was in high school, I was disgusted by it(mostly cuz the teachers were ugly or guys), so it's not outside the realms of possibility, but it's also no more likely to happen now than it would have without knowing he's in the porn business, but it's still something that has 2 sides, and what I said might be the middle ground that (sensible) people can agree on.

$20 says it it was straight porn, you wouldn't have heard about it. And Fox news would not have cared one bit, if anyone. Fox only cares because it has the work "gay" in the story.

If I remember correctly, I actually have heard of cases of it, but it was more local than national. But, I could be mistaking reality for movies and TV shows, I do that from time to time..
