I bought a new laptop recently and i am running vista 64-bit. i tried dl'ing quake but an error pops up that the software is not compatible??

right click the quake on your desktop and hit properties then the compatibility tab and check the box and leave it on XP service pack 2 it will run fine. i dont see why it wont run i have Vista Home premium a laptop and it runs fine. but that will make it run for u.
